Premiere by Trio Ismena : broadcast on DR P2

Trio Ismena på Ærø - premiere of Solace written in response to the Australian bushfires that raged throughout the latter part of 2019 and into early 2020, presumably killing 3 billion animals and an area of land larger than the United Kingdom.

This piece was written as a homage to the 250th anniversary of Beethoven and was programmed alongside his 5th piano trio and Fanny Mendelssohn piano trio op. 11.
