Performance Note:

Night is worn is set in a world without light where only shadows reach the earth and touch the skin. The piece is set in fragments to William Blake's collection of poems: 'The Songs of Innocence and of Experience.' A setting devoured, Night is worn considers what a constant state of consumption does to the human psyche; affecting the body and mind as well as the world around us - that which is, and that which is yet to come.

The sons of eternity singing, And none shall gather leaves.
— William Blake
